Jean-Jacques Baronnat directs this family home of trade, created there is more than 100 years by his grandfather, then producing in Beaujolais. Superb Moulin-à-Vent 2009, tasty and finely having a nice bouquet, with the intense robe ruby, the pronounced ripe red fruit nose (blackcurrant, morello cherry), with round tannins, it is an at the same time powerful and supple wine, very typified. Excellent Brouilly 2008, very aromatic, with its subtle and intense notes of humus, overripe red small fruits and spices. Beautiful Morgon 2008, with the blackberry nose and of smoked, with tannins present, a wine which continues a very beautiful evolution. Taste white Mâcon Solutré Pouilly 2008 and the Beaujolais-villages red 2009. Taste also its rosy Coteaux-d’Aix-en-Provence, quite representative of the nice wines of the area, of brilliant robe, with the nose of citrus fruits and fresh white fruits, all in suppleness, perfect on a fish grill. At its sides, Côtes-du-Ventoux the 2007, of robe ruby, with the nose of ripe red small fruits, very scented, full, of good structure, generous and persistent.

Password at the head of the first great wines in the Classification 2010. A family estate of 9,60 ha, located in the middle of the vintage Brouilly. Soil with prevailing granitic, combined with the type of vine Gamay black with white juice confer on this wine its smoothness. A very favorite for its Brouilly 2008, coming from 40 year old vines and manual grape harvest, a limpid red dress cherry, the scents of morello cherry, typified, of well-balanced structure, spices, in mouth, with wrapped tannins, combining roundness and intensity, of a beautiful persistence finally. Excellent Côte-de-Brouilly 2008, extremely well also matured several months out of barrels of oak, typified, a powerful wine but all in elegance, scented in mouth, where prevail of the notes of currant and heather, with quite silky and very well-balanced tannins, of excellent evolution as the 2006 attest some, with the complex nose (ripe blackcurrant, strawberry of wood, violet).

At the top. Property created in 1910 by the grandfather. Alain Michaud represents the third generation of vine growers, assisted soon by 4th with Dorian. The winegrowing counts 13 ha including 9 in Brouilly appellation, made up for 70% by vines of more than 50 years. Beautiful Brouilly 2008, still young, full and tasty, with the subtle stone-fruit nose, combining smoothness and structure, of tasty mouth. The 2007, charmer, velvety, very scented, with these ripe fruit and undergrowth notes (strawberry of wood, bilberry…), of a beautiful final in mouth, very good evolution. Morgon 2008 (2,50 ha, 45 years old vines on the slopes) of intense robe, is well scented (fresh fruits, humus…), of full and round mouth, a wine very slightly peppered finally. Rosy Beaujolais 2009 is greedy and fruity, perfect on the Lyons pork-butcheries (2000 bottles only). Taste “Gamaysienne”, astonishing a semi-sparkling red light with alcohol low level, very fruity, which they work out themselves in their wine storehouse. A wine which is the fruit of a work meticulous person, the catch of foam being made out of bottles with a traditional discharging, an ideal product with aperitif or on a dessert. Beautiful quality-price-pleasure ratio, which does not spoil anything.

In 1956, some wine growers anxious to maintain the culture of the vine in the region of Lion decided to link their efforts and founded the Cellar of Vignerons Réunis to Sain-Bel. Today the Cellar gathers some 110 co-operators for 260 hectares of vines and 13.000 hectolitres of production, divided into 1/4 of Beaujolais appellation and 3/4 of Coteaux du Lyonnais appellation (either 60% of this appellation). Equipped with a powerful material and a knowledge to make controlled semi wine making carbonic traditional, all the team is implied to produce elegant and generous wines. Piece with the fermenting room, at all the stages, qualitative criteria is imposed and controlled to answer the orientation taken by the Cellar since many years: followed control of the vine by a technical commission, inciting remuneration of the contributions co-operators, step HACCP in a preoccupation of traceability and a food safety. By this mobilization, all Vignerons of the Cellar of Producteurs de Coteaux of Lyonnais are the guarantors of a production of quality. These efforts are found in their excellent red Coteaux-du-Lyonnais Benoît Maillard 2008, with the very open blackberry and undergrowth nose, of mouth complex and marked by the red fruits. The white 2007 is of a beautiful aromatic persistence, with the aromas of flowers and of apricot, a wine all stops some, which combines roundness and nervousness, perfect on a trout, for example. Slope-of-Lyonnais the vintage Hommée red 2008 (at last century hommée surface represented that a vine grower worked in one day with his fessou), resulting from not very deep sandy grounds and a semi-maceration carbonic, velvety, with nuances characteristic of macerated small fruits, is spiced stops some as it should be, with ripe and tasty tannins, with these small notes of spices and humus finally. Excellent Coteaux-du-Lyonnais the vintage rosy Référence 2008 (100% direct pressing, wine making at controlled temperature), a wine with the nuances of flowers and spices, associating richness and suppleness, of mouth fruity like Coteaux-du-Lyonnais the Winegrowing of Champ-Guichard red 2008, quite traditional, all in subtlety, with notes of rose and blackberry finally. Nice Beaujolais Winegrowing of Soly 2008, only elaborate with the grapes resulting from the oldest vines, fullbodied and typified, it allures by its pallet of aromas rich and powerful. Many medals with the Competition of Paris and the Competition of the Great wines of Mâcon.

At the top of First Classified Great wines. Gerard Brisson matures this superb Morgon Les Charmes La Louve 2008, of very nice garnet-red color, fleshy, with the overripe fruit nose (raspberry, blackcurrant) and of humus, very traditional, a wine which associates color and matter, very successful also in the vintage 2007, with notes of violet and liquorice, rich color, traditional and concentrated, combining smoothness and structure. Dense, complex, Morgon Les Charmes Vieilles Vignes 2006 (vines of more than 50 years, maturing in the tun of oak between 12 and 18 months), with its crystallized blackberry notes, is a wine with rich tannins, closes, all in perfumes, which associates roundness and structure in mouth. 2005, with the plum aromas are of very good structure, having a nice bouquet and fruity, of dense and persistent mouth, it agrees perfectly with a leg. Showing the potential of evolution of these wines, Vieilles Vignes 2001 is superb, with the reflections crimsons, the scents of ripe blackcurrant and liquorice, of powerful mouth, an ample wine, coloured and of excellent evolution. Morgon Les Charmes Noble Tradition 2005 is a wine of beautiful color, scented (ripe, morello cherry and violet), intense with the nose as in mouth, with tannins present and very elegant at the same time, to open on a calf's liver to old. Beautiful 2004, where the cocoa, the spices, the morello cherry and the undergrowth intermingle, a wine melted, powerful with the nose as in mouth, quite firm and silky tannins at the same time, of excellent evolution, perfect on marinaded game. The wines collect, of course, the rewards: with him only, Morgon Vieilles Vignes 2005 had gold medal with Mâcon, the Prestige price in Villefranche and Burgondia d' Or in 2008, which is nothing. It should be noted that here, one practices the œnotourism in the old cars (Bentley of 1965 and Citroen 2 CV) with discovered wines, vineyards and cultural heritage and gastronomical (personalized circuits).
